The energetic feild designed for change
Due to the lack of trust that has been steadily building since the 2020, the post-pandemic era has birthed a division amongst humans. There are many divisions to name but I will speak to one; the rise of anti-intellectualism and lack of emotional intelligence(EI). I believe it’s this division that initiated an energetic field that many of us are learning to transcend at this time. Six years later, we are witnessing how energy exposes cycles of transformation and what we can learn through this process.
Anti-intellectualism is about a resistance or even a suspicion toward thinking critically. An unwillingness to expand or adjust beliefs that no longer serve you or others. And a pattern of assimilation towards “sameness” or the “everyman”.
We cannot talk about anti-intellectualism without addressing emotional intelligence(EI) because I believe that they inherently co-exist. EI is the ability to perceive, to understand, and manage emotions. It is a practice of emotional literacy which requires intellect. Intellect is a habit of reflecting, questioning, interpreting, imagination and criticism, therefore the lack of those practices or the resistance to those practices produces anti-intellectualism.
It's taken me a long time to translate the depth and quality of this energetic field. It's layered and by no means have I dissected each strata to comfortably name. Although I have noticed others speaking about this idea from a perspective I too can learn from. I consider energetic fields to be like mirrors everywhere, reflecting back to you a theme or message. I often call them “announcments”.
The further I dived into these mirrors, the more I saw myself. Every version, across time and space. I can see where I chose the unwillingness to expand or adjust. I am not judging myself but addressing how patterns of assimilation create polarities. An easy assumption is that you either sit on one side or the other but an energetic field affects everything, in one way or another.
If we look at energy as a term, it is rooted in something measured, but energy it's not created as opposed to exposed. And it’s that exposure that aligns with the evolutionary and energetic cycles.
The cycle of energy that we are currently experiencing has happened on earth but not during this lifetime. It's ancient in its quality, as it returns with a mission of collective turbulence. A disruption quietly erupting and maybe not even detected. Some have aligned it astrologically with the crumble of the old world and the rise of the new world. But this collapse does not make a sound but rather a fizzling out. This energetic field has many of us moving through such massive transitions around identity, vulnerability, accountability, autonomy, sovereignty but I believe that’s its design.
Anti-intellectualism and lack of emotional intelligence could be a bi-products of this shift. Whether the rapid change, economic instability, war, political unrest, AI, we find ourselves caught up in the intensity of the times. But what if this energetically was an opportunity ripe for the picking? What if the paradox is here to strengthen us, and elevate human experience? It’s too often that we categorize change as good or bad, but why not as re-orienting or an exchange or a revision?
Although I would consider myself intellectually and emotionally intelligent, I too am faced with the effects of this field. I speak of this as a way of inviting you into a conversation that is prevalent as more and more people are addressing the importance of obtaining human-skills that will advance our species and not erase it.
Have you noticed this energetic shift and how do you feel about it?
